As members of the workplace, employees play a critical role in helping their employers achieve a harassment-free environment not only through how they conduct themselves at work but by knowing how to deal with harassment if it happens.  This half-day course is designed to provide employees with a thorough primer in the law relating to workplace harassment including what “workplace harassment” is, who is liable for harassment in the workplace and why, what retaliation is, what employees can do to support a harassment-free workplace, and steps employees can take if they believe they are being harassed.

Course date: March 27, 2014, 9am to 4pm

More and more, employers are being held legally responsible for ensuring that their employees are provided with civil and respectful workplaces.  As the eyes and ears of the workplace, managers and supervisors play a critical role in achieving a harassment-free environment.  Managers and supervisors need to understand the legal principles that form the basis for their employer’s liability and their own personal responsibility to prevent and respond to workplace harassment.  This interactive full-day course is designed to provide those in supervisory roles with the core knowledge and skills needed to appropriately address harassment in the workplace.

I hope to see you out!
